In this course you'll learn the basic techniques of woodworking while building a solid-wood Japanese fruit bowl of around 44 cm long by 26 cm wide and 9,5 cm tall, adjustable between 30 and 44,5 cm so it fits your space perfectly. You'll work with professional machinery — thicknesser, jointer, sliding table saw, mitre saw, Domino jointer and sander — with our teachers by your side the whole time. When it's done, you'll take home a unique piece with a genuinely professional finish.
How you'll do it.
Here's how you'll build your fruit bowl step by step over the day.
You'll use the thicknesser and jointer to bring the wood to the exact thickness with perfectly flat faces.
With the sliding table saw and mitre saw you'll cut every piece to its precise length and angles.
The Domino jointer lets you join the pieces solidly, quickly and in perfect alignment.
You'll assemble the fruit bowl with glue and clamps, checking the structure comes out perfectly square.
You'll run the sander over it for smooth, mark-free surfaces, ready for finishing.
You'll apply the final finish that protects and enhances the wood, leaving the fruit bowl ready for home.

- Between 7 days and 24 h before: 50% refund.

If Made de Madera cancels
If we have to cancel the course, we refund you 100%. A course may be cancelled if it doesn't reach the minimum of 3 students enrolled.
Date changes
- More than 15 days before: no penalty.
- Within the 15 days before: 50 € penalty.
