Frequently asked questions

Do I need previous experience?

No. Most of our courses are designed for beginners and you start from zero. For Level 2 we do recommend having done Level 1 first, or having equivalent experience.

What's the difference between Projects and Skills?

In Projects you build a specific piece (a box, a stool, a table) start to finish in one day. In Skills you work on a specific technique or machine, or follow the level-by-level itinerary.

What do I take home from the course?

Your finished piece and the techniques you've learned. On project courses, the piece of furniture or object you've built is yours.

Is everything included?

Yes: the timber, the consumables and the protective gear are all included. You just need comfortable clothes and the urge to work with your hands.
