Frequently asked questions
Do I need previous experience?
Not to start learning, but to use the machines on your own you do need to complete the Machines and Portable Power Tools Course. If you're starting from zero, we recommend beginning with an introductory course.
Which machines can I use?
All the workshop's industrial and portable machinery: panel saw, thicknesser, planer, router table, bandsaw, lathe, pantorouter, the Festool Domino system and more, once you've passed the machine course.
Do I have to take the machine course?
Yes. Every new member completes it: 8 hours split across two mornings or two afternoons. The fee is 120 € and there are several dates each month — the next ones are on the course page.
Is there a lock-in period?
No. The contract is monthly and renews itself. You can cancel any time before the end of the month, in one click, with no penalty.
Can I store my tools and projects?
Yes, with a monthly locker: 50 € for the regular size and 80 € for the XL, for members. Ideal for works-in-progress.
