A real workshop, with the door open
We're a fine-woodworking school and a shared workshop in Alcorcón, Madrid. This is where a craft gets taught, solid wood gets worked, and you share a bench with people who love the same things you do.
It started with one bench. Then the others arrived.
Made de Madera was born from a simple conviction: fine woodworking is learnt by doing — hands on the wood, with someone beside you who has already made your mistakes. So we built a real workshop — industrial machinery, carpenter's benches and solid wood — and opened it to anyone with the itch to learn.
Today our Alcorcón workshop welcomes students who had never touched a tool in their lives, hobbyists who come every week to their bench, and cabinetmakers who make this their profession. Everyone shares the same space, the same machines and the same sawdust.
We're not an academy with classrooms and slides. We're a workshop that teaches. You can tell the difference by the hands.

Carpenter's benches, industrial machinery — sliding table saw, thicknesser, bandsaw, router table, pantorouter —, sharp hand tools and solid wood. Everything a cabinetmaker needs, looked after daily.

We believe in solid wood, in sharp tools and in learning by doing. Everything else is sawdust.

We're part of something bigger
Made de Madera is the heart of an ecosystem built around the craft: Makers de Madera connects cabinetmakers with clients after custom pieces, and Market de Madera equips the workshop with tools and finishes chosen by the people who use them every day.
